kim olson/sweet edge is a contemporary dance company that uses dance, through performance and educational opportunities, to facilitate new levels of communication and ways of thinking about issues common to daily life and the human experience. kim olson/sweet edge seeks to broaden traditional ideas of dance by: constantly exploring and generating new possibilities in movement and dance concepts; designing and performing site specific work for alternative spaces; and through collaborative projects with artists from other mediums . all of which can bestow new dimensions to the art of dance. In doing so, we aim to foster appreciation for, increase knowledge of, and create new audiences for Contemporary Dance.
