sweet edge uses dance performance and educational opportunities to facilitate new levels of communication and ways of thinking about issues common to daily life and the human experience - seeking to broaden traditional ideas of dance by exploring and generating new possibilities in movement concepts; designing and performing site specific work; and through collaborative projects with artists from other mediums.  The aim is to bestow new dimensions to the art of dance and thus foster appreciation for, increase knowledge of, and create new audiences for dance and the arts.
